I am a recent graduate of the Masters in Finance program at Villanova University.

This blog is to help anyone who is interested in a MSF degree in their decision making process.

I’ll be applying to multiple Master’s in Finance programs this fall including Bentley University, Tulane University, and University of Rochester. I have researched Villanova’s MSF program considerably and I figured you are the man to field my questions.

First, on the webpage is says that you need a 3.2 GPA to apply. Is this a strict requirement? Can I not apply with a 3.0-3.1 GPA?

Do you think the program offers good preparation for the CFA exams?

Do many graduates make it into any known BB, MM, or boutique banking shops?
